Adult/ Kids Yoga Classes
This class will focus on slow mindful movements to lengthening the muscles surrounding pelvis, hip, and back. We will explore slowly flowing with in a posture and also finding stillness with the posture. Emphasis will be on linking the breath with movement. Breath awareness and pranayama (breathing exercises) will be included in each class. Class will end with guided imagery into savasana. Modifications and Variations will be provided. No experience necessary! This class is appropriate for beginners, those with pelvic, hip and low back pain, and anyone looking for a more therapeutic approach to yoga.
Join us in this fun and engaging class that promotes a state of well-being on all levels. The principles of yoga and mind-body-spirit awareness will be weaved throughout the class in a kid friendly manner through creative movement, stories, games, songs, and meditation.
Kundalini Yoga 10-week Beginners Series
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a dynamic system including postures, breathing exercises, chanting, relaxation, and meditation. The process of yoga focuses on the need to control the “waves” of the mind. The mind is considered to be the link between the body and the spirit, or consciousness. Our society is ever-changing, becoming increasingly technological with greater pressures and demands being placed on us. The pace of change is on the rise and the stress on our body’s nervous system is increasing. The science of Kundalini Yoga allows us to tap into a technology that helps us cope with this escalating change.
Join us for this 10-week series that will teach you everything you need to know from the ground up about Kundalini Yoga. We will take it slow, so you will feel confident enough to join any Kundalini Yoga class or start your own practice by the completion of the series. Handouts will be provided.
Open to women in any stage of pregnancy and at all levels of yoga practice. This class will allow expecting moms to cultivate the flexibility, concentration, and strength needed during the transformative time of pregnancy and child-birth. Classes will focus on modified yoga postures to build strength and flexibility, breath work, vocal toning, meditation, and relaxation. Come enjoy the community of other expecting mothers while you build a foundation to be used during labor and post-partum. No yoga experience necessary!

Soften the body with supportive bolsters and blankets as guided meditation and ambient music takes you into a state of deep relaxation. Gentle touch and aromatherapy are integrated throughout the practice to accentuate your experience.
